SCALES OF DEAD is a 5-reel, 3-row game with 10 paylines.

The Tomb SCATTER symbol acts as a WILD and substitutes for all other symbols (except for the special Expanding Symbol). 3 or more Tomb SCATTER symbols on any reel trigger FREE SPINS mode with 8 spins.

During FREE SPINS, 2 or more Tomb SCATTER symbols trigger Sandstorm FREE SPINS with an initial 4 spins. More than one Sandstorm FREE SPINS can be triggered during regular FREE SPINS.

During Sandstorm FREE SPINS, 2 or more Tomb SCATTER symbols re-trigger Sandstorm FREE SPINS. An additional 2 Sandstorm FREE SPINS are awarded, up to 30 total Sandstorm FREE SPINS for each Sandstorm FREE SPINS trigger.

1 regular symbol (except SCATTER) is chosen at random to become a special Expanding Symbol in FREE SPINS. When enough of the respective symbol land, they expand to cover all reel positions. These symbols do not need to appear adjacent to result in extra wins. The same special Expanding Symbol is used throughout FREE SPINS, including every triggered Sandstorm FREE SPINS. During Sandstorm FREE SPINS an x2, x3, or x4 multiplier is applied to each special Expanding Symbol. The multiplier value is randomly selected after triggering a new Sandstorm FREE SPINS.
